AND the Peugeot 406 Coupe (also at Pininfarina).
Davide Arcangeli died of leukemia in 2004, and didn't get to see the E60 on the road.
Not many of his sketches out there, since most of his work was pre-internet-profusion, but here's one of the E60's development. I remember reading about it in Auto&Design many years ago, but I don't have a copy and can't find one.

I've never liked the E60, but the 406 coupe is an astoundingly beautiful car. It's a shame that I never knew who he was when he was alive.

The E60 was launched in July 2003, so it started production before Arcangeli passed away. It’s still a very tragic story though. :/
